A Rock'n Blues Band with a Soulful touch. The band consists of very seasoned players.

KC Bones is a Grateful Dead cover band based in Kansas City, Missouri. Since 2019 we’ve been keeping the music of the Dead alive — the long, winding jams, the dancing bears, and the easy good vibes that bring deadheads together.

You’ll catch us around the Kansas City area at bars, marinas, and events — from Jerry Garcia birthday matinees to free lakeside sets. No two shows are ever quite the same, just the way the Dead intended.

Blues Reckoning brings scorching Blues to your dancing feet! With Travis Hagge on guitar, Brian "Pickle" Gerkensmeyer on bass, Kevin McCall on drums and Vern Elworth on keys. Time to cut a rug! -$8

The Usual Suspects Band will play a set at The Zoo Bar as part of the Roots Music Shop Jam on October 4! Roots Music graciously provides amps, drums, keyboard and everything necessary so artists can just plug in and go. It's a great way to spend a Sunday evening, hope to see you there! No Cover!

Zootenanny presents: Stetson Banks, with Serenity Dougherty and Dom Jok!
Northwest Arkansas comic Stetson Banks brings a blend of relatable absurdity, boundless energy, and lovable chaos to every stage he hits. He's shared the stage with Brian Regan, Bert Kreischer, and Ms. Pat, and been featured on the Blue Whale, Altercation, Fountain City, and Cleveland Comedy festivals, to name a few. Equal parts comedian, woodworker, and omelet enthusiast, he's proof that some of the best comedy comes from the most unexpected places.

Curtis Salgado walks onstage, tells a room full of strangers he’s about to play some blues, some rhythm and blues, some funk and soul — “are you with us, music lovers?” — and within three songs the place belongs to him. Not because of volume. Because of a voice that can whisper a ballad into absolute silence and then blow the walls out on a deep-pocket funk groove thirty seconds later. Ninety minutes in, the audience feels like they went to church.

Singer, songwriter, guitarist and showman extraordinaire Igor Yuzov is perpetually globetrotting and in the process he has found scores of wildly talented, entertaining musicians to bring into the fold of this increasingly international party band.

Coco Montoya is celebrated by Living Blues as "one of the truly gifted blues artists of his generation." Billboard raved, "In a world of blues guitar pretenders, Coco Montoya is the real McCoy." Mentored by legendary "Master of the Telecaster" Albert Collins and spending a decade as lead guitarist for John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, the self-taught, left-handed guitar virtuoso and soul-deep singer has spent nearly three decades atop the blues world. Back-to-back with his hard-hitting road band, Jeff Paris, Nathan Brown, and Rena Beavers, Montoya delivers a heart-pounding live performance of blistering fretwork and passionate vocals, featuring material from his acclaimed Alligator Records album, Writing On The Wall.
